That’s why when it came time for my sister Jessie’s baby shower, I made sure to shower her with special little gifts that left her radiating in comfort.

Last weekend, my aunts and I threw a honey-bee themed baby shower in honor of my sister’s ever approaching spring due date. With bouquets of fresh, fragrant flowers, warm candle-filled centerpieces, crocus cupcakes, and sweet home-made honey favors, the banquet hall produced a warm contrast to the snowy winter day outside.

From binkies and blankies, to boppies and bounceroo’s, Jessie received enough baby goods to fill her nursery, and then some. Being the good sister that I am, I decided that I wanted to give her a little something different for her gift. I created a gift basket filled with things that the mom-to-be could spoil herself with; new nail polishes, her favorite dark chocolate candies, non-alcoholic champagne, and of course a handful of Hanky Panky panties. The black “hot mama” thong received a wild response from the room full of relatives, and my sister especially appreciated the full-back V-kinis in bright spring colors. With an ever-growing baby bump, Jessie cherished a gift for herself that was sexy and comfortable. And the best part of it all? They can be worn post-pregnancy as well.
