Hot Mama Baby Shower: Sweet Treats

Our friend, Kristan Leone, owns Kreated by K, a custom baked goods company in NYC, and contributed to the Hot Mama festivities by donating some of her sweet treats. Her custom goodies make great favors for any event and are also perfect for holidays. See her blog post for us below and check out her website www.kreatedbykristan.com to see some of the fabulous goodies she has created!

It was a lot of fun working with Hanky Panky and providing treats for their bright and springy baby shower! The cake pop and cupcake baskets I filled for them would also make great centerpieces at a sit down shower.

They could double as the favors if you left bags, ribbon and a note on each guest’s plate to take home, as I did for this bridal shower in the picture below.

If you want a DIY favor for a baby shower, you can buy personalized ribbon at beau-coup.com and tie the mother’s favorite treat or matching colored jelly beans in a bag to a real pacifier. Check out Ehow.com for instructions.

Edible favors are very popular now and a great way to have your guest leave on a sweet note!

XOXO Kristan

About Hanky Panky

Over 30 years ago, in 1977, designer Gale Epstein created a hand-made lingerie set for her friend, Lida Orzeck, crafted out of embroidered handkerchiefs. The original designs were the inspiration for the company name, Hanky Panky. Blending traditional with modern glam looks, Hanky Panky is a fashion favorite of countless celebrities.
