The turkey and pumpkin pie have all been eaten, and the holiday shopping season has begun in earnest!

Since shopping local and made in the USA is such a great idea, here are of a few of my favorite Made in the USA gifts!

I absolutely love Cold Spring Apothecary‘s all-natural cosmetics and home fragrance products. They’re made by hand in small batches in Cold Spring, New York, a charming town  on the banks of the Hudson River. My husband swears by their pre-shave oil, and I love their lavender lip balm. They also have a great selection of gift sets for everyone on your list. Their Frankincense & Myrrh  candle makes a particularly holiday-appropriate host/ess  gift.

Another made in the USA cosmetic brand I can’t live without is Kiehl’s. Kiehl’s is a New York City institution! Their Amino Acid shampoo & conditioner are amazing (the coconut fragrance is the perfect escape from winter), and their Ultimate Strength Hand Salve is the makes a great gift for anyone suffering from dry winter skin.

My standard go-to holiday gift for families is a box of Harry and David’s organic pears. They’re delicious, and organically grown in Oregon, and a welcome change from all the sugar and fat-laden treats that are so prevalent this time of year.

And of course, all the ladies on my list get Hanky Panky undies and sleepwear!
