Celebrate Hanky Panky’s 35th Anniversary with our limited-edition “Summer Afternoon” collection. This collection is made from vintage hand-embroidered hankies, pure silk ribbon and ultra-lightweight 100% cotton batiste, and was inspired by the first Hanky Panky designs from 1977.

The “Summer Afternoon” Cotton Gown features a hand-embroidered hanky yoke at the neckline. It is romantic, lightweight and is finished with a delicate cotton Leavers lace trim at the neckline, straps, and hem. The cotton gown is also shown with a wrap, which was inspired by a nineteenth-century fichu (a type of shawl).
The “Summer Afternoon” Cotton Wrap (as seen on Ashley Greene in the August 2012 issue of Cosmopolitan Magazine) has delicate cotton Leavers lace inserts and trim, and can be tied in the front or the back for two different looks. It is perfectly paired with the Cotton Gathered Bikini and Cotton Bandeau Bralette.
The “Summer Afternoon” Cotton Bandeau Bralette features an exquisite embroidered hanky insert at the center front, has adjustable silk ribbon straps, an panel of elastic smocking at the back, and cotton Leavers lace trim with elastic around the top and bottom for a comfortable fit. It is shown paired with our bias-cut Cotton Gathered Bikini, which has delicate lace trim around the waistline and hem and is finished with a silk bow for a sweet touch!
The Summer Afternoon Cotton button-down Cami has lace trim and hand-embroidered handkerchief inserts. This camisole features an adjustable ribbon drawstring at the neckline and ties at the back waist for a customized fit. This piece was inspired by a late Victorian corset cover in the graduate study collection at the Fashion Institute of Technology. The camisole is paired with our Cotton Bloomers. These knee-length bloomers feature an elastic waist, lace trim at the hem and adjustable silk ribbon drawstrings.
