New Year’s Libations

New Year’s Eve is always a great night for festive beverages. Over here at the Panty Palace, we’re pretty partial to the classic “Hanky Panky,” however, there are other fun drinks to try. Here is a small selection of staff favorites.

French LavenderBrenda’s “French Lavender Sparkle”

2 tsp Lavender syrup (add more depending on preference)

6 oz of Prosecco

Mix gently in a champagne glass and serve. Brenda discovered this sophisticated combination on a trip to Paris.

Ila’s famous “Papaya-tini”

1 part Vodka

1 part Papaya liqueur (DeKuyper makes one)

1 part Orange Juice

1 part Cranberry Juice

Mix well and garnish with festive frozen cranberries…salut!

Larissa’s “Haute Chocolate”

1 cup milk

1 oz chocolate syrup

1 oz Godiva Liqueur (or other chocolate liqueur)

1 oz Amaretto

Whipped Cream

cocoa powder for dusting

Heat the milk in a saucepan on low heat or in the microwave. Mix in chocolate syrup, then chocolate liqueur, then amaretto. Top with whipped cream and dust with cocoa powder. The perfect drink for snuggling on the sofa and watching the ball drop.

Cheers!

About Hanky Panky

Over 30 years ago, in 1977, designer Gale Epstein created a hand-made lingerie set for her friend, Lida Orzeck, crafted out of embroidered handkerchiefs. The original designs were the inspiration for the company name, Hanky Panky. Blending traditional with modern glam looks, Hanky Panky is a fashion favorite of countless celebrities.
