Henree and Luis, BFFs

A company is built on its people or, in our case, our people and our poodle.

Henree, a standard poodle, is Hanky Panky’s Chairman of the Board. Henree moonlights as the beloved companion of our CEO, Lida Orzeck. Luis is one of New York’s most talented and experienced apparel designers, and Hanky Panky’s ‘Professor of Prototypes.’ With a team of ten highly-skilled seamstresses, Luis produces the first sample of every new Hanky Panky design. In each other, they’ve found a true friend, and respite from the pressured world of high-fashion undies.

Henree, a dignified poodle, is not above hoping (dare I say "begging") for a treat now and again.

Henree, whose upright carriage and noble demeanor shout dignity, is not above hoping (but never begging) for the occasional treat.

Henree comes to the office everyday with Lida, and for the last eight years or so, Luis and Henree have taken a daily afternoon stroll together in nearby Madison Square Park. “It was love at first sight,” said Luis.

About Hanky Panky

In 1977, designer Gale Epstein created a hand-made lingerie set for her friend, Lida Orzeck, crafted out of embroidered handkerchiefs. The original designs were the inspiration for the company name, Hanky Panky. Blending traditional with modern glam looks, Hanky Panky is a fashion favorite of countless celebrities.
