Create Peace of Mind™

One of the most rewarding things about having a successful business is the ability it provides to contribute philanthropically. We are thrilled to announce the launch of the Hanky Panky Supports PeaceLove collection for Summer 2016.

When we met Jeffrey Sparr and learned of his PeaceLove Studios™, we were immediately impressed with his concept to bring peace of mind through artistic expression. In his early workshops, Jeff would share his story, show his art, and then challenge participants to think about “what gives you peace of mind?”, and then paint it.

PeaceLove Studios helps people create peace of mind through expressive arts. Their studio workshops include Shoe Stories and Transformation Collages.

The artwork that was translated onto our signature lace for this capsule collection was created during one of the very first Paint4Peace™ expressive arts workshops by Cathy Van Lancker, a middle school art teacher in Providence, RI.  Staff is encouraged to jump in and participate during the sessions and Cathy did just that.  When asked about her painting, Cathy shared, “Making art gives me peace of mind.  Having the opportunity to share PeaceLove® and this experience with my students was special.  The different hearts represent my students and the joy I felt creating with them.”

Hanky Panky Supports PeaceLove is a design and philanthropic collaboration with PeaceLove Studios. The collection includes four styles in our signature lace: a camisole (xs-l, $59), boyshort (xs-l, $39), and original and low rise thongs (one size fits most, $25). Available on hankypanky.com.

About Hanky Panky

In 1977, designer Gale Epstein created a hand-made lingerie set for her friend, Lida Orzeck, crafted out of embroidered handkerchiefs. The original designs were the inspiration for the company name, Hanky Panky. Blending traditional with modern glam looks, Hanky Panky is a fashion favorite of countless celebrities.
