Quality Matters: Cross-Dyed Lace

Hanky Panky's Cross-Dyed Lace is a luxurious update to our Signature Lace.

Hanky Panky’s cross-dyed lace is a luxurious update to our signature lace.

Hanky Panky’s signature lace thongs, panties, bralettes and camisoles are wardrobe staples in part because the fabric is remarkably soft and has just the right amount of stretch, two qualities you don’t often associate with fine lace.

Our cross-dyed lace is a posh update to our signature lace: same great fit and feel with a two toned hue that accentuates the romantic lace pattern of roses on a vine. This effect is achieved by using multiple fabric dies, each of which applies to a different kind of fiber in the lace. The effect is striking.

We use cross-dyed lace on its own and as trim on our more casual heather jersey pieces, which means you can easily mix-and-match pieces from the two collections.

About Hanky Panky

In 1977, designer Gale Epstein created a hand-made lingerie set for her friend, Lida Orzeck, crafted out of embroidered handkerchiefs. The original designs were the inspiration for the company name, Hanky Panky. Blending traditional with modern glam looks, Hanky Panky is a fashion favorite of countless celebrities.
